Riwaya has always been more than an islamic gifts marketplace, or a place where amazing muslim businesses can promote their products. It’s more than offering business tools or islamic marketing. Riwaya is something to elevate the entire community.

That's why we have Riwaya community, Riwaya’s monthly charity project that takes a % of the sales we do throughout the whole marketplace and donate it to causes within the UK and abroad that help build up the islamic, ethical and muslim communities/

With that in mind, this month's donation is through Muslims hands education appeal!

It was narrated from Abu Hurairah that:

The Prophet said: “The best of charity is when a Muslim man gains knowledge, then he teaches it to his Muslim brother.”

Sunan Ibn Majah, Vol. 1, Book 1, Hadith 243 We know from the above amazing hadith, the importance of education within the world. The increase in education unlocks amazing opportunities within the most deprived regions of our community. Key facts of how muslim hands work in education:

• 25000 children receiving a supported education
• 130 schools supported across 18 countries 
• 1200 teachers employed
