    How to List and Upload Products on Riwaya: A Step-by-Step Guide for Sellers

      Now that your seller account is set up, it’s time to list your products and start selling. This guide will walk you through the process of adding products to your Riwaya store, step by step.

      Step 1: Log in to Your Seller Account

      Once you're logged into the Riwaya Admin Panel, look at the left-hand menu and click on Products. This is where you’ll manage everything related to your listings.

      Here, you’ll see:

      a. All your existing products

      b. Products on moderation

      c. Disapproved products

      d. Add several products (for bulk uploads)

      To add a new product manually, click the Add Product button.

      Step 2: Fill in Product Details

      Once you click on Add Product, you’ll be taken to a screen with several tabs. Here’s what each one means and what you need to fill out:

      1. General Tab

      This is where you enter basic product info:

      a. Name: Enter the product name here.

      b. Featured Product: Tick this if you want the item highlighted.

      c. Storefront: Enter your store name.

      d. Categories: Select the correct product category.

      e. Price (£): Set your selling price.

      f. Full Description: Write a clear and detailed description.

      g. Images: Upload product images by dragging them into the box or selecting them from your device (Max size: 1024MB). Recommended format is JPEG or PNG.

      2. Pricing / Inventory Section

      Within the same tab, scroll down to manage pricing and stock:

      a. CODE: Add your product code or SKU.

      b. List Price (£): This is your RRP. If your actual price is lower, it will appear in the SALE section.

      c. In Stock: Mention how many units are available.

      d. Free Shipping: Tick if you’re offering it, customers love this!

      e. Downloadable: Use this for digital products only.

      f. Search Words: Add keywords (separated by commas) to improve search visibility.

      3. SEO Tab

      Improve your product’s visibility on Riwaya and search engines by:

      a. Writing a product title

      b. Meta description

      c. Meta keywords (optional)

      4. Quantity Discounts (Optional)

      If you offer discounts for buying in bulk, you can set those up here.

      5. Returns Tab

      Mention your returns policy clearly so customers know what to expect.

      6. Tags Tab

      Add relevant tags that describe your product (e.g. “Wedding/Nikkah”, “Birthday”, “Hajj & Umrah”).

      Step 3: Click Create

      Once everything is filled out, click Create. Your product will be submitted for approval by the Riwaya team.

      Step 4: Wait for Approval

      After submission, your product will show as “on moderation.” Once approved, which takes aroun 1-3 working days,  it will go live on the site and be ready to attract buyers!

      Bonus: Bulk Upload Products

      Want to upload multiple products at once? Use the Add Several Products option in the Products menu. This is perfect if you’re listing a full collection or have a large inventory.

      Final Tip

      Take your time to write good descriptions, add clear images, and set the right tags and keywords. A well-presented product stands out and sells faster!

        Yes! Use the Add Several Products option under the Products menu to bulk upload your items. This is ideal for adding full collections or large inventories.

      • Q4. How do I know which category to list my product in?

        Choose the most relevant category based on your product type. If you’re unsure, check similar products on Riwaya or reach out to seller support for help.

      • Q5. What is the difference between Price and List Price?

        Price is your actual selling price. List Price is the recommended retail price (RRP). If your Price is lower than the List Price, the product will appear under Riwaya’s SALE section.

      • Q6. Do I have to offer free shipping?

        No, but offering Free Shipping boosts visibility and sales. Sellers who offer free shipping see 4× more orders, 280% higher GMV, and nearly double the repurchase rate.

      • Q7. Can I sell downloadable or digital products?

        Yes, simply tick the Downloadable option when adding your product. You’ll then be prompted to upload the digital file after creating the listing.

      • Q8. Why are search words important?

        Search words help customers find your product more easily. Add relevant keywords that people are likely to search for, especially if they don’t appear in the product name or description.

      • Q9. Can I edit my product after it's published?

        Yes, you can edit your product at any time from the Products menu. Any major updates may be subject to reapproval by the Riwaya team.
