My Salah Mat LTD

My Salah Mat Ltd is a purpose-led Islamic company founded in 2018 by Kamal Ali, the inventor of the world’s first interactive prayer mat.

Alhamdulillah, the Interactive Prayer Mat has now been sold in more than 40 countries, helping over 100,000 people around the world begin or continue their Salah journey. Today, My Salah Mat offers a growing range of educational Islamic products, including interactive prayer mats for children and adults, Arabic and Qur’an learning pads, interactive wall art, Islamic books and other resources designed to make learning about Islam easier and more engaging.

Kamal is also the founder of Hajj Safe Ltd, which he established in 2011 while working as a secondary school teacher. Hajj Safe was created to support pilgrims travelling to Makkah and Madinah. Its anti-theft belts, bags and practical travel products have helped tens of thousands of pilgrims complete their Hajj and Umrah journeys with greater comfort, organisation and peace of mind.

Following a visit to Egypt, Kamal introduced Urban Rugs UK in 2024. The brand offers luxury padded prayer mats designed to make Salah more comfortable while also bringing beauty into the prayer space. Since its launch, many customers have fallen in love with the collection, purchasing the mats for themselves and as meaningful gifts for friends and family.

The inspiration behind all of Kamal’s work has always been to seek the pleasure of Allah and to support the Ummah. Whether it is helping someone learn how to pray, teaching a child about the Qur’an and the Prophets, supporting pilgrims during Hajj and Umrah, or making Salah more comfortable, every product is created with a genuine purpose.

Please remember Kamal, his family, his team and the work they are trying to do in your duas. May Allah place barakah in their efforts, accept their intentions and allow their work to continue benefiting Muslims around the world. Ameen.
