Our beloved Prophet(PBUH) has emphasised dua and dhikr as the main parts of the beleivers’ daily routines. 

He thought us many adhkar(remembrences of Allah) that are easy to do and also bring immense barakah into one’s life. 

Allah says in the Holy Quran:

“O’ you who believe! Remember Allah with much remembrance. And glorify His Praises morning and evening”
[Al-Ahzaab 33:41-42].

Remembering Allah morning and evening ensures peace and serenity of the mind, as well as, success in this life and Hereafter. 
Reciting dhikr throughout the day as we carry out our routine tasks shields us from sins as we become more heedful of Allah. 

Morning adhkar should be recited between the time of Fajr salah and sunrise; however, the time coulf be extended to forenoon( time of ad-duha) if a person happens to miss it. The evening adhkar should be recited between Asr and Magrib prayers; however, a person who misses this time may recite the adhkar before one-third of the night has passed. 

According to hadiths,there are several that we can recite every morning and evening as was the practice of Prophet(PBUH) and his companions.
