Ramadan Mubarak from Riwaya!

As we stop and reflect and try to increase our spirituality and good deeds for the entire month, its important for us to realise that most of us in the West are incredibly fortunate.

We have warm houses, food at iftar time, free schools and healthcare and if needed some form of back-up in the welfare state. Naturally its not perfect (and it never will be) but the point we’re making here is that we should also be extremely grateful for the blessings we do have.

When we set up Riwaya, we wanted to empower the Muslim business community and make it easier for Muslims to find their products that fit their ethical and Islamic values. During the time of Ramadan and Eid, now that is so much more important then ever!

However, for this month’s Riwaya community we’re taking a moment to recognise and support those children and parents across the world, living in refugee camps, who also deserve a nice gift on Eid!

That is why we’ve donated to OneUmmah’s EidGifts appeal! We’re providing gifts for children on Eid day to bring a moment of smile and happiness to those who need it most inshallah!  See more about OneUmmah’s aim is below
