"And We turned the city upside down and rained upon them stones of Sijjil (baked clay)."

(Surah Al-Hijr, 15:74)

This punishment was a direct consequence of their immoral behaviour, disobedience to Allah, and refusal to repent.

This tragic end for the people of Lut (AS) is a stark reminder of the importance of following Allah’s guidance. When people turn away from the teachings of Islam and engage in sin, they invite the wrath of Allah.
